Before Cuaresma there is Carnaval, the time when everyone can do whatever they want. This documentary narrated by a generation of carnival-goers together with archival footage from 50 years ago, portrays the party full of music, food, drink and color that today unites an entire people; people who then, repent for their sins.

The Crosses of Porcón represent not only an expression of faith, but also a profound symbol of identity, collective memory, and living cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation in the communities of Cajamarca. Each cross reflects history, devotion, and the spiritual connection of a people to their roots.
