Some news about a marauding kidnapper can be heard in the town. A young detective finds a man which is suspected of committing the crime. He leads him straight to the theater stage.
During a stagecoach ride, the young detective spots a suspicious man in a cape and with a sword. The man drops a bloody handkerchief—a vital clue. The boy pursues him.
