Biography
Matheus Severo (he/him) is a Brazilian actor and singer based in Vancouver, BC. Trained in both theatre and film, he brings a grounded and versatile presence to the screen. His work has been seen on Netflix, at international film festivals, and in national commercials, alongside a wide range of stage performances. Matheus' journey began with musical theatre studies in Brazil before moving to Canada, where he's continued to grow as an actor and storyteller. He is a graduate of Studio 58. He has been recognized with nominations from the Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards and the OVATION! Awards, as well as receiving the Owen Lock Diversity in Theatre Award and the Beta Sigma Phi Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement. Passionate about human connection and exploring new narratives, he continues to expand his career in film and television while keeping his theatre roots close to heart.
