Islam Zouanat is a Moroccan director, screenwriter, and editor, born in Rabat. Passionate about art and cinema from a young age, he turned to filmmaking after his studies in art. Islam began by creating several video experiments and music videos. In 2024, he made his remarkable debut with his first short film, Cellule 20 (2024). This film, acclaimed for its captivating storyline, marked the beginning of his professional career in cinema. Since then, Islam has continued to explore various genres and formats, always seeking new ways to tell stories.
