The snow is mysteriously missing from ski resort Gavmofjäll, leading 14-year old sámi girl Ristin and her little sister Aila on a quest deep into the ancient secrets of the mountain to save their family from catastrophe.
Six-year-old Aili can’t sleep. As she listens to the world beyond a half-open door, her imagination begins to spiral. Strange sounds from the kitchen suggest something unsettling: what if the underground Ulda people have come to replace her parents?
