Itamar Tenenbaum

Set in the early 1950s, during the formative years of the State of Israel. It tells the story of siblings Meir and Shoshana Har Zion, and their deep connection amid the cycle of violence between Arabs and Jews.

Aya is young, sensitive and very much in love. Love, in fact, is her essence. When she realizes that her boyfriend is about to break up with her, she runs away in a desperate attempt to hide from the inevitable.

Moishy, a young yeshiva student, is desperately in love with Ruchela, a young and beautiful woman whose previous husbands have all died.
