The forest, a house, and people.
Two art students are buying second-hand clothing in a private apartment in Tirana, Albania. They talk to the salesman about the city's nightlife and try on the clothes, which are spread around the flat. The seller is stressed, but the two students do not notice.
With a blank stare and a very clear facial expression, a young woman sits in a Danish courtroom listening to her own testimony. First, it is recited by a judge in Danish, and then it is translated into German by an interpreter so that she can understand it herself. In this way, her story returns to her twice, in two languages and two voices.
A swimming pool, three women, a choir: Lilo wants to swim without water wings, Kira has to be the fastest and Frida wants to jump from the 10-meter tower.

We are standing in front of the old theater in Narva. It is still winter and snowing. An old man comes out of one of the theater doors and speaks to us in a deep, warm voice in Russian. We only understand his gestures. We don't know his name, so we call him Vassili, like the great old theater.
