But, as YOUNG, BLACK AND GIFTED shows us, in intimate conversations with family and friends, he sometimes questions whether he is ready for this responsibility.

As they bestow beauty, generosity, and grace upon the princess, they are interrupted by the arrival of the horrible fairy Carabosse, who, furious at not having been invited to the festivities, casts a curse on Princess Aurora: on her 16th birthday, she will prick her finger and die.
