The notorious Bimal Mandal, who ruled the Rishra-Hindmotor-Konnagar area for years, gets arrested by Dibakar Sen. However, he gets away due to lack of evidence. Soon, Dibakar and Hubba, seem to become alter egos of one another and morality gets blurred.
The play Raktakarabi, known in English as Red Oleanders by Rabindranath Tagore, is set in the fictional kingdom of Yakshapuri, where inhabitants toil as slaves in gold mines under the rule of an unseen king who remains concealed behind a screen in his palace.
