Biography
William Stogden is the founder of Stogden, a northern UK-based production company. A first class graduate from the School of Digital Arts in Manchester. His work includes the award-winning documentary Fire Cat (2025), which earned recognition at the North West International Film Festival (NWIFF), and The Bus Rider, which was shortlisted at Sheffield DocFest. In addition to his documentary work, William has also directed a range of narrative short films, such as Angeline (2024), Doreen (2024), and The Puppeteer (2025). At the core of his practice is a commitment to exploring and expanding the documentary form, redefining how reality and authenticity can be represented on screen.
