“Turpinājums” is Rūdolfs Kugrēns’ latest stand-up comedy show. The epicenter of Rūdolfs’s narrative and jokes is Āgenskalns ¬¬– the Riga district where he grew up and still lives. It is this part of Riga that serves as an inspiration for many of Rūdolfs’ jokes and as the beginning of his life roles - being a son to his parents, to whom he is a continuation, and being a father to his son, who is his continuation.

What happens when Latvia's best comedians and TV diva Baiba Sipeniece - Gavare meet on the same stage? A very hot roast is expected. Following the best traditions of "roasting", Baiba will have to sweat a lot, but she will not be left in debt for her answer.

All the comedians of Comedy Latvia’s core lineup have prepared their latest material, polished it in summer venues, and are ready to tell it on stages all over Latvia. The brightest comedians of the Latvian stand-up scene will go on the tour - Rūdolfs Kugrēns, Jānis Kreičmanis, Kalvis Troska, Aleksandrs Guzenko, Kaspars Žilins, and Jack Everitt. The newest member of Comedy Latvia, Kārlis Strautiņš, will take care of warming up the veterans. This year, we want everything to be simple, so to speak - undiluted. Stages with one high chair and one microphone, just a few lights so that you can see who is speaking, and the funniest comedians of Latvia - you can expect that from the evening together with Comedy Latvia.

"Comedy Latvia" comedians open the grilling season by roasting three prominent people in Latvia - humorist Ufo, rapper ansis, and improviser and event host Kaspars Breidaks.

“TAGAD” is Rūdolfs Kugrēns’ seventh solo stand-up show. One of Latvia’s best-known comedians and the most prolific creator of stand-up comedy shows returns with a new collection of jokes and observations after a two-year hiatus. “‘Someday’ or ‘later’ are probably the most common modes of human action. To put ‘now’ into gear, you need either terrible trouble or terrible energy. ‘TAGAD’ is a reminder that waiting for something can make you late, but the right moment is just that kind of joke. This is a show about this era, about people and current events,” says Rūdolfs.
