The destiny of a happy Armenian family will change forever in 1915, Ottoman Empire, (Armenian land), now Turkey and whose beautiful dreams will become memories in the eyes of the most famous Armenian American painter, who lives to paint the story of his shattered childhood.
Rohana is the first wife in a polygamous marriage and is disliked by her co-wife, Hani. While Hani is on her way to perform umrah, Mizan falls ill and becomes increasingly frail. This situation forces Hani to return to her homeland urgently. Hani gives a string of prayer beads to Rohana. Shortly after, Mizan passes away. According to Mizan's will, Rohana is set to inherit Mizan's estate while Hani will only receive a string of prayer beads. Dissatisfied, Hani demands her rights. Finally, the lawyer reads Mizan's will.
