Tatort is a long-running German/Austrian/Swiss, crime television series set in various parts of these countries. The show is broadcast on the channels of ARD in Germany, ORF in Austria and SF1 in Switzerland.

Anja & Anton was a German family television series broadcast in 55 25 minute episodes between December 1997 and 2007.

After his mother's death, 17-year-old Sven moves in with his dad Achim, a taxi driver, who had divorced his mother several years earlier. It is not easy for Achim to get used to an adolescent around the house, especially since Sven hardly speaks to him. But Sven does well in school, and Achim hopes that time will bring them closer together. It is Achim's girlfriend Julia who first senses that something is wrong with Sven. Why, she wonders, does he always hang around with young boys? Why does not he have any friends his own age? She suspects that he is gay. The truth, however, is somewhat more nuanced - and chilling: Sven has pedophile tendencies. Proof is soon found on videos that shock and sicken Achim. Sven himself is shattered and regrets his actions. Julia suggests therapy, but Achim is convinced that he and Sven can handle this together. But he is wrong. Though Sven practically begs his father to lock him up in his room, Achim has confidence in his son.

Jochen's life is going well. He has just moved into a new house with his wife and child when suddenly his widowed father accidentally runs into a car and begins to lose his mind. The family take the old man in but tensions arise when the family has to grapple with the old father's worsening Alzheimer's condition.

Paul Bacher is in crisis. If he could feel in the past as one of the most influential writers of his generation, he has long lacked ideas and impetus for a new great work. His reading tours are becoming more and more a sad affair with too much alcohol and too little public. Then Paul overflows in a drunken hitchhiker, flees first scared and later removes the body, without talking to anyone about the experience. But something is flowing in its interior. Paul starts to write again. The criticism is done, but the story about the death of a hitchhiker also arouses suspicion.

Volker can hardly imagine anything better than being the father of a daughter. However, he knows far too little about the real life of 17-year-old Daphne after separating from his wife. He wants to change that with his first daddy-daughter vacation, billed as a trip to Crete's dream beaches. However, the educational program the lecturer has come up with doesn't really suit the teenager's interests.

At some point, a dead fox lies in the star lawyer's empty swimming pool. Later, much later, the former Attorney General Jasper Dänert lies dead in an empty bed. In between, an entire life comes to an end. Or rather, what was left of it. A powerful drama that tragically paints the biblical story of the prodigal son in the dreary autumn colors of East Germany. Full of guilt, denial, manslaughter - and a lack of atonement, which should have been the responsibility of Brandenburg's highest prosecutor. But when the murder happened, when the young hustler Jimmy was found dead in a rotten tree trunk, he was biased. More than that. He was the perpetrator.

When his parents go away and he has to stay behind alone with an unloved housekeeper, a boy retreats into a dream—into a fairy-tale adventure story like something out of "1001 Nights," in which people from his everyday life reappear as fairy-tale characters. Every night, Lippel dreams the dream a little further until it reaches a happy ending, thereby also solving the problems of his everyday life...
