Biography
Julian Heuschneider is a self-taught filmmaker from Germany who began his journey in filmmaking at the age of 11. Over the years, he has gained professional experience in both videography and photography, developing his visual and narrative style. In 2021, he won a screenwriting competition with his horror/drama short film "The Veil Between", which received production funding from the Bavarian government and was completed in 2025. He also secured funding for his comedy/drama short film "Typing Yellow Dreams" in 2023, which was completed in the same year. Julian's first horror short film, "Lost in the Shadows", was screened at the Regensburg Short Film Week in 2024. His upcoming projects include a 2D animated comedy/drama short film, as well as a feature-length horror/sci-fi movie.
