Ju Rezende is a Brazilian director, screenwriter, producer, and assistant director based in São Paulo. Born in Bahia, Brazil, her birth name is Júlia Rezende, though she works professionally under the name Ju Rezende. She graduated in Cinema from FAAP (Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado) and has worked across several areas of filmmaking while also creating online content about cinema and the filmmaking process. Ju Rezende directed the short film “Para Onde Vão as Folhas”, which portrays the world through the perspective of an autistic girl and reflects on how autistic people experience and interpret their surroundings. Julia herself is autistic, and the film draws from her own lived experience. She also directed “Busurú”, a film that explores themes of origin, memory, and the cultural roots of Bahia.

Pedro is a young man who begins to be tormented by a mysterious noise coming from the wall of his house, and he is the only one who can hear it. As the days go by, Pedro tries to find out where this sound is coming from in order to put an end to it and discovers that the noise is not actually coming from the wall.
