17-year-old Bo's parents are divorced, and he lives with his mother in Aalborg. He travels to Copenhagen to visit his father. At his architect's studio, he meets a sweet young girl with whom he falls in love. However, she turns out to be his father's new friend.

The milk driver Hans loves his horse Snow White so much that he takes it on holiday to the Danish summer country. Along the way, they are joined by a young American girl, and together they experience Danish culture and nature - and a romantic meeting leads to a wedding.
