Biography
Elena Sakuda is a filmmaker, artist, and teacher, currently residing in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Several of her short films have gained recognition at festivals nationally and internationally. She has had three exhibitions of her mixed media artworks. Currently, she is finishing her first narrative feature film, inspired by the beautiful state of New Mexico. In the future she plans to continue writing and directing. She is a big supporter of indie filmmakers and local artists.

The other follows two girls who meet in the Zuzax and have a moment to be kids. The film heavily showcases the beauty of the liminal, abandoned spaces, and the landscapes of New Mexico.
