Sam–a non-binary mid 20s sex worker–navigates romantic, sociality and an impending pregnancy-related decision over the course of a weekend in New York City.

A nameless narrator traverses a lonely city. Distant airplanes pass overhead. The shadows of his former self haunt him in the form of specters as he recollects his sordid past. Reflecting on the brutality of banality, he sells his memories to these other-worldly cashiers that seem to inhabit the world around him.

A filmmaker hires an actor to recreate memories from childhood in order to explore an estranged family relationship.

In a flashback, a woman is accused of over-narrativizing her life and makes that accusation into a narrative.
