The second part of Soviet filmmaker Sergei Bondarchuk's epic biography of John Reed. It is October 1917 and the American journalist has found himself and his wife, Louise Bryant, in Petrograd on the eve of the Bolshevik revolution.

In 1971, the frustrated Akira Kurosawa made an unsuccessful attempt to cut his veins. His life was restored by the opportunity offered by Mosfilm: to make the first Soviet-Japanese collaborative film "Dersu Uzala". The documentary reflects the challenging shooting period and captures the memories of crew members more than 40 years later.

The plot of the play 'The Last Ones' at the Gogol Theatre centers around the Kolomiytsev family. Their home resembles the ruins left after a bombing, and the characters themselves appear as the last survivors of a worldwide catastrophe. The appearance of their house symbolizes the destruction of age-old foundations and family traditions. Despite the fact that some of the characters make timid attempts at reconciliation and family reunification, singing songs around the campfire in unison, it is clear to the audience that the rift is inevitable and unavoidable.
