Natalia and Malina lead completely different lives. Malina is a rebellious girl searching for her path and trying to figure out what she really wants. Natalia is a famous actress, and a respected mother and wife living in a luxurious residence. When, as usual, Malina turns to her sister for help, she meets with an unexpected refusal. But spending a few hours with Natalia helps her realize that her sister’s life is full of mysteries.

The dawn light is cut by the sounds of an axe. The breath of Helka, yesterday's bride, mingles for the last time with the breaths of her family. Helka bids farewell to her patrimony and walks through the village to her husband's house.
