Biography
Gemma is a graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting. She recently played the role of Tiger Lily & Liza in The Gate Theatre production of PETER PAN adapted by Roddy Doyle and directed by Ned Bennett. Recent stage credits include THE IMPROV DIARIES directed by Ali Fox at this year's Scene & Heard Festival, ANIMALS (a reimagining of Orwell's Animal Farm) directed by Louise White at the Dublin Theatre Festival, the role of Sarah in her own critically acclaimed play 48 directed by Claire Maguire for No Desserts Theatre Company, Guildenstern in HAMLET directed by Joe Dowling for the Gaiety School of Acting, THIS IS NOT A CULT directed by Robbie O'Raw for No Desserts Theatre Company, Joni in Ali Hardiman's ELECTRIC directed by Clare Maguire for ILA Productions, DISCO PIGS directed by Tracey Ryan for Reality Productions (Irish Times Theatre Awards Best Ensemble), Michelle in SWEET SENSATIONS directed by Teri Fitzgerald at Dublin Fringe Festival, STAND UP FOR BASTARDS directed by Veronica Dyas at the Abbey Theatre, and Angelica in THE WISE WOUND directed by Philip O'Doherty for Gonzo Theatre Company. Gemma is based in Dublin.
