After years of forced labor in the Gulag, Jerzy returns home to his waiting wife and young daughter. Though life appears to return to normal, traumatic memories continue to haunt him, blurring the line between dreams and reality. Told entirely without dialogue, *Circles of Sleep* uses gestures, expressions, and glances to portray the inner world of a Gulag survivor. The film won the Golden Tadpole at the 2000 Camerimage Festival in Toruń.

The monodrama is based on Alojzy Lyska's text “Jak Niobe.” Hanka Jonakowa, a Silesian born near Pszczyna, spins a tale in which personal experiences are intertwined with great historical events, almost always signifying fear and suffering. The show is inspired by the history and culture of Silesia. Performing in the main role, Grażyna Bułka won the Złota Maska award in 2017 in the best female role category for her performance. It is the acting that is the main strength of the show. In an intimate space, limited only to a chair and a rod, Bulka portrays a range of situations and emotions that build tension and strongly affect the audience.
Despite really not being military material, Tytus decides to join a local paramilitary group created by his father. Forever an optimist, the boy heads into the forest convinced he can overcome any challenges that come his way.
