Three disguised Nazi women attack Liza at a train station and flee the scene, causing a serious car accident. Liza ends up in the same hospital as Vanessa, the only survivor of the crash. Liza wants to uncover the truth about the attack, but deeply rooted prejudices and racist structures—both within the police force and the families of the young women—shake Liza’s reality and call societal values into question. Vanessa struggles with her guilt and tries to find a way to face Liza. But Liza already has plans of her own…
At the center of this coming-of-age comedy is 19-year-old high school graduate Charlie, whose greatest dream is to become an actress.
