Paweł comes home with a black eye. On the way to his room, he walks through his father’s car workshop, where the old man’s eagle eye catches the bruise. The father feels obliged to teach his son to stand up for himself and avenge the insult.
Lena, a 40-year-old actress freshly divorced, is determined to rebuild her life. Embracing change, she quickly plunges into the vibrant nightlife of Warsaw—and into the arms of Kundel, a young, charismatic student. Their relationship is a passionate explosion where the boundaries between intimacy and desire begin to blur. Meanwhile, Lena’s ex-husband Jan, a respected lawyer, struggles to accept the end of their marriage.
Tomek, a fresh banking graduate, moves to the big city to start his adult life with a bang. He dreams of spectacular success, thanks to which he will get his ex-girlfriend back. He rents a room in an old, crumbling house, inhabited by a group of eccentrics. But the very first night there makes him realize he will sooner end up in a psychiatric hospital than in his dream corporation.
A summer day. In the middle of a rollerblading ride, you stop by a building long out of use. You don’t come there to swim - there’s no water in the pool. You bring your friend. Besides, neither of you can swim. But what if the pool were filled with imagined water?
The film follows a young man as he tries to preserve his everyday life in the form of a video diary. He shares those important moments (both beautiful and trivial) with his girlfriend and his best friend.
