Biography
Pavel Kizhuk is a Belarusian actor, director, and musician known for his contributions to Russian cinema and theater, as well as his work as frontman of the experimental band Unokrysh. Born in Grodno, at the age of eight,he attended a local art school for drawing lessons, and then studied at a school with a focus on fine arts.At the age of twelve, he practiced Thai boxing for a year and a half, after which he began to engage in professional road cycling.He participated in international races, became a candidate master of sports.The best international rider in the junior stage race in Poland (Kluczbork).He graduated from the local Olympic Reserve School in Grodno. In 2013 bought a bus ticket from Grodno to Moscow and went with a backpack and $200 with a dream of becoming an actor. Worked various jobs: as a loader,truck driver, auto mechanic, model,barman,waiter,cosmetics salesman, clown, handing out leaflets. In 2015 tried to start study to all the state theater institutions in Moscow.He didn't work out, and wasn't too upset.Pavel began to search for where to study theatrical art and found a theater workshop at the Greek cultural center in Moscow.Where he met directors Georgy Vladimirovich Chervinsky and Georgy Ponagopoulous, where he was joyfully accepted.Georgy Vladimirovich had his own theater "Studio 69" which he founded in 1987 in Moscow. Had to juggle studying and rehearsals with the normal life of a worker/visiting worker, which wasn't easy.Had to leave for rehearsals during lunch, or drive a truck to the theater, go to rehearsal, and then get behind the wheel. During his periods of study and work, he still managed to actively acted in films.In 2020,"Studio 69" theater closed due to the death of its director. He wrote the script and directed his own short film "Sneakers" which was released in 2021.Part of the film was shot in Moscow, and part in Malta. The film participated in many international festivals,was chosen by Abbey Film Festival London,United Kingdom.Had its premiere in Moscow at the Dostoevsky Library. He has worked extensively with young directors and non-standard cinema, which makes a definite contribution to the evolution of local culture. In 2022 has recorded albums in an experimental style,in Moscow,near-metal-psychedelia, with the group "Unokrysh.".Pavel is a guitarist, frontman, and lyricist. Did it to encourage local musicians to create independently and be individual,evolution.
