A short film that artistically depicts addiction through metaphorical personification as a mysterious lover and friend, Ananke. The relationship that the protagonist, Juliana, builds with Ananke mirrors the abusive relationship that one can have with substance abuse, where the euphoria is so dazzling it replaces ambition and independence. In the short film, we explore how one, who suffers from a lack of support and loneliness, can give away everything to feel wholesome. The film explores addiction within LGBTQ+ communities.

A regular trip to a toyshop for Jenny Onion turns out to be the start of a magical adventure when she finds a magical bear in the shop who is called Sleepy. Sleepy enjoys showing Jenny his magical powers and Jenny cannot believe Sleepy has come into her life. On a trip to a magical apple pie shop, Sleepy discovers he needs to travel back through the magical time hole, into Magicville in order to save his friends Cuff Cuff and Sunshine who are being held captive by Pirate Penguin on board his ship the Slippery Snake. With Sleepy's magical powers and Jenny's help the race against time begins for Sleepy and Jenny to make it safely back to Magicville and to begin their rescue mission.
