Biography
Israel Varela is a professional actor/director/producer based out of Dallas, TX. After co-producing a couple of commercials and being an on air talent host for a series of educational training videos for a marketing agency he found himself enthralled by the world of acting. Israel attends weekly acting classes at Class Act Dallas under the direction of Daniel Foster. He continues to perfect and hone his craft by attending workshops, reading, and watching the great performers of the past and present. When Israel is not busy filming, attending classes, or writing he can be found networking with his industry colleagues. Israel has been cast for lead and supporting roles on several independent films and has also been featured on WGN's 'Salem', HBO's 'The Leftovers', and the Reelz Channel's 'Murder Made Me Famous'. In addition to the feature film Bad Kids of Crestview Academy directed by Ben Browder and produced by Bad Kids and Spiderwood Studios.
