Robert and Max need their friend Jan in order to function in life. But after having his life's work ruined during a disastrous book release, Jan has now fallen into a deep depression and can't help anyone anymore. Robert and Max now need to travel across the country to find a way to retrieve Jan's book and his will to live.

Anton, a maladjusted and yearning man is trying to find love, comfort and a new family to requite his feelings. This is a journey through the early days of autumn that ends up being a series of turbulent and chaotic trials for those who crosses his path.
