Biography
Ben Mouland is a filmmaker and visual artist based in Vancouver. Born in New York City and raised in Montreal, they eventually moved to the west coast to attend the Film Production Program at the University of British Columbia. Ben's directorial works are tender and touching, pushing its audience to surrender to their most vulnerable self through plain plots and flawed characters. His creative work outside of directing can only be described as outlandish, as he explores analog means of filmmaking and pushes it to its limits. Recent works like "Goldfish" and "Pulse" highlight Ben's willingness to explore the mundane in more nuanced ways.
