A group of students open up a "haunted house" for Halloween to try to raise some money. They soon discover that someone, or something, is in the house with them, and begins killing them off one by one.

A film-maker from Scotland travels to California to shoot a true crime documentary. However, it seems that the real crime, is the film that they are making.
