The story revolves around the two worlds inhabited by Vasudeo Balwant Thombre. Living his normal life by day, he is transformed into his fantasy world by night.

An army officer from a small village passes away after he marries a girl. The whole village, including both her families, decide to disown her owing to her being unlucky.

Ashwini is married to Kartik and is not able to conceive. A 'tantrik' tells her that it is their ancestral house which is creating a problem in their life. Ashwini decides to find out the truth.
