The biopic follows Kaija Koo's journey through music and life as she navigates through her challenges and finds true freedom in her personal and professional life. From an insecure young woman, she grows into an independent and strong woman whose personal growth story, and especially the songs that emerge from it, will empower many generations.

Iida, an elderly Sámi woman, who has abandoned her roots under the pressure of forced Finnishization, is conflicted between selling her old homestead and hiding her cultural heritage from her niece, as the rural way of life she has suppressed begins to creep back in.

Nelly spots Ricky on the street and tries to shout at him, but he can't hear her and disappears around the corner. Aunt Serena is surprised to see Ricky in the shop, exploring the candy shelves, when she should be at home vacuuming. Downstairs neighbour Lennart Lindberg asks Ricky to go fishing, but he never shows up. Is there a Ricky look-alike in town? And if so, where and why has he come to the neighborhood?
