Biography
Born and raised in Lhasa, Tibet, Tsering Yangkyi finished her MA in directing at the Academy of Film, Hong Kong Baptist University. She was selected into the 17th First Training Camp as one of seven directors mentored by director Anthony Chen.

Unexpectedly, the plateau reaction prevents her from lighting the lamp for her late grandmother.
