The main character is a little boy, whose sick grandfather lives in the attic. Every time the grandfather wants something, he hits his stick in the floor, which makes the boy believe his grandfather is a stick. The film deals with misunderstandings between adults and children, since children can perceive things differently than adults.

A weaver severs her ties to her urban environment and settles down on a former farm in the countryside in anticipation of a simple and down-to-earth life. The dream of salvation through life in the countryside.
