Our hero's owner, William, wears a valuable medallion sent to him by his grandfather as a memento of the Battle of Gallipoli. Unaware of the thieves after the medallion, during a commotion on the ship while admiring Izmir from afar, Mannu and the thieves fall into the sea along with the valuable medallion. During the journey from Australia to Gallipoli, an elderly woman appears by Mannu’s side every time he gets into trouble and rescues him. Yet the truth is very different.
