Biography
Tomasz Raczek (born 15 June 1957 in Warsaw) is a prominent Polish film critic, publicist, and media personality. He graduated in Theatre Studies from the Theatre Academy in Warsaw. Raczek co-founded a well-known on-screen film review duo with critic Zygmunt Kałużyński, and over the years he has written for major Polish outlets such as *Rzeczpospolita*, *Polityka*, *Wprost*, and *Film*. He was the first editor-in-chief of the Polish edition of *Playboy* and later held leadership positions in television, including vice-director of TVP 2 and director of the nFilm premium movie channels. As an author, he has written numerous books about cinema and television, including *Karuzela z idolami*, *Pies na telewizję*, and a multi-volume film lexicon *Perły kina*. He also runs a YouTube channel of film video-reviews.
