Mels, who was born without legs, lives in a small rural village with his young son. Although there is a weapons testing site near the village, Mels and other village residents maintained a peaceful life. At some point, Mels' body and the weapons test, meaning nuclear testing, begin to become interconnected. And the village is in turmoil surrounding the nuclear test.

A young guy Sapar is forced to graze sheep all summer for stealing chickens. In the pasture, he meets a Kyrgyz girl Aichurek. Together they build a hut where they hide from the weather. And where a beautiful love story begins.
