The events of the play revolve around the problem of the similar who is used as a substitute for the original, whereby a similar is used in order to obtain a reward from a rich man and the monument on him, and this similar is trying to get close to the daughter of the rich man.

It talks about a wife who seeks to keep her deceased son of her husband away from home, so that she can live alone and bring her daughter to live with her, while the son seeks to be alone in the apartment so that he can marry, they think of the only solution is for the son to marry the daughter and live in the apartment, to escalate events.

During WWII, a retired teacher decides to find a job. When he accepts a position in a private school in a small Upper Egyptian town, he moves there with his family, only to discover that the town is afflicted by an ongoing blood feud between two families.
