After the death of his mother, Carlos returns to his childhood home. During a long night, Carlos is confronted with the many neighbors of his hometown, who will try to test him and lead him to madness.

In 1974, Chico, a beloved host of a children’s TV show at the service of a repressive authoritarian regime, is forced to make the hardest decision of his life: murder a colleague live on air, or lose the approval of his powerful father. As the cameras roll, the program unravels into a surreal theatre of obedience, repression, and madness.
