Biography
Adam Plant is a trans actor from North Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music and Religious Studies from Elon University, then went on to receive his Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity. Adam can be seen on season one of The Summer I Turned Pretty. In 2024 he wrote, co-directed and played as a lead actor in a short film called Order For Ben.

The Summer I Turned Pretty
Ben, a young trans man in his 20s, hasn’t seen his dad for seven years - Not since he came out as trans and left home as a teenager. When they meet again, Ben has moved on to create a life and community for himself, while his dad is still scared to let go of the daughter he thought he had, and embrace the son he has now. Through their conversations, old wounds are brought to the surface, difficult truths are disclosed, and both father and son take steps down the path of healing.
