The story is set in a fictional city called Hiranyanagara. It is about how an illegal drug called YUMAS was established in India in the late 2000s and what conflicts it caused.
Elra Kaaleliyatte Kaala follows Vijay, who gets stranded in the unusual village of Idnodu, where life moves without clocks and time feels suspended. As he tries to leave, he is drawn into its rhythm, gradually confronting the tension between urgency and stillness.
