Tereza is a traditional healer living in Guajará-Mirim, in northern Brazil. Recognized in the community for her spiritual work, she dedicates her daily life to attending to people seeking healing, protection, and guidance.
A humble street vendor of fried bananas, from a city in the Amazon rainforest region, has her routine changed when she meets a young reader on the bus on her way back home. From that moment on, she begins a new journey of discoveries, dreams and the challenge of finding her child's favorite book.
