Biography
Rikiya, aka Ricky, is a member of a Jpop group Ballistik Boyz (BBZ) from Exile Tribe, managed by LDH. He was a student in LDH's dance school EXPG in Osaka. As a child, he used to feature in some of Exile's music videos and concerts. In 2013 through an audition he managed to earn a spot in Project TARO which was an entertainment based educational program organized by LDH and Avex. For the 3-year duration of the project he lived, trained and studied in NYC. (Fellow BBZ bandmates Masa and Miku were also part of this project). After returning from New York, Rikiya was selected to part of LDH's newest boy group Ballistik Boyz. The group made their official debut on May 22, 2019. He's skilled in dancing, rapping, and karate.

BALLISTIK BOYZ's special program “BALLISTIK BOYZ ‘HIGHER EX’” featuring their 8th single “HIGHER EX”, which is also the title of their tour that started in April 2024 and was released on May 22 (Wednesday), the 5th anniversary of their debut. SPECIAL” featuring their 8th single ‘HIGHER EX’ will be broadcast exclusively for 60 minutes on Monday, July 29th from 10:30pm. The lyric videos for two coupling songs of the single “HIGHER EX,” which were the members' first attempts at production, will be shown for the first time. In this special program, the members will share the charms of their new single “HIGHER EX”, which is the first single written by the members and includes two coupling songs, “good day good night” and “Mermaid”, under the theme of “aiming higher” as they celebrate the 5th anniversary of their debut.
