The story is about 12th-grade students in an elite school called Maurya High, which is an institution for the kids of the rich and the famous. The school also entertains scholarship students, who come from the poorer section of the society. The story revolves around the students, their lives, their insecurities, friendships, rivalries and ambitions.

The story revolves around a possessive single father who dotes on his daughter but cannot accept the idea of her marriage, deliberately creating obstacles between her and her prospective groom.
