Reporter Henry Dupres is on a quest to find The Shadow, a mysterious organization protecting endangered species. After some time, Henry finds a lead that takes him deep within the Nevada desert. Suddenly, he finds himself on a path he never envisioned, changing him forever.

Three young homeless girls with diverse circumstances are living on the streets in the Las Vegas desert. A chance meeting while panhandling leads to an unusual connection with an elderly widow and the most innocent of the trio.
