A South African Afrikaans soap opera. It is set in and around the fictional private hospital, Binneland Kliniek, in Pretoria, and the storyline follows the trials, trauma and tribulations of the staff and patients of the hospital.

Fictionally in the heart of Mpumalanga, in the small town of Fransenburg, stands the Fransen Hotel. Once the town's pride. Once a beacon. Once. Now barely a one out of five star on Trip Advisor. Ferdie Kruger, the middle-aged hotel manager and his small-town staff, struggle to keep the substandard hotel's doors open.

Locke meets Donnie Darko in a modern reinvention of the chamber film. A film made for a disenfranchised youth who have built the bars of the isolation with ones and zeroes.
