In this sci-fi rom-com karaoke musical, Stella, an undocumented Filipino in pursuit of a green card, goes on a karaoke date with a strange man who turns out to be an alien from outer space.

Set in New York City, a meek Filipino woman is faced with the shocking news of a loved one's murder in a hate crime. She must then choose between ignoring the increasingly personal musical numbers or finally confront her feelings… and sing!
