UK-based screenwriter and producer focused on feature scripts in the genres of horror, thriller, sci-fi, and urban drama. Producer of documentary films for East Leeds Project. Fourteen-time international screenplay competition winner for screenplays Red Mist, Rat, Murderabilia, Daisy Daisy, and Headshot. Visiting Lecturer in Screenwriting at the University of Leeds and Screenwriting Mentor at the Oakwood Film Academy.

Shirley Adams spends her days caring for her disabled son, Donovan - he was shot in the back of the neck on his way home from school one afternoon over a year ago.
