Inès, 16 years old, is determined to find a job when she meets Martin, a boy from the nice neighborhoods of Brussels. Feeling something between shame and fascination, she becomes brutally aware of social injustice.
After the fall of Assad’s regime, five survivors return to the former torture prison of Saidnaya to reenact what they experienced there during their incarceration. They reclaim their voices and bear witness for those who can no longer speak for themselves.
Upon receiving her residence permit, Salma, a Syrian refugee, discovers that the Belgian authorities have revoked her and her son's nationality. Salma then fights for the recognition of their lost citizenship.
