Evocation of the work and personality of the singer-songwriter Chabuca Granda in 7 chapters: Criolla, Por el Perú, Confidencias, Negra, La Flor de la Canela, Siempre Viva, Proyectos. Through the testimonies of colleagues and family, landscapes of Lima, memories and tributes, Chabuca discovers his intimacy and his way of seeing Peru.
A fishmonger at the market is kidnapped along with her young son in her own home, in a doorway in downtown Lima, by a robber fleeing the police. She discovers that her kidnapper has a large wad of cash, which he appears to have just stolen. She gradually convinces him to hide upstairs, hoping he'll step on a precarious step she knows is about to break, causing him to fall and die. This happens (he dies), and she takes advantage of the situation, seizing the money and leaving the house, feigning victimhood.
The story follows the challenges faced by Isaac Paliza, owner of a mechanic shop in Pueblo Libre, to compete in the Gran Premio de Caminos del Inca every year. It's a story of passion for motorsports, a passion that drives him to save his earnings from the shop to participate.
